About Lori Ruplal - Teacher, Artist, and Designer

Lifelong Learner - Creativity at my Core

I am a passionate and innovative educator who loves learning as much as teaching. Throughout my adult life, I seize every opportunity to be creative and grow both personally and professionally.

My creativity enhances my teaching, and my teaching fuels my creativity—it's a symbiotic relationship!

This digital portfolio showcases some of the experiences I've had as a professional throughout my career, along with the innovative teaching practices I've developed. I love teaching. I love being creative. I love working with various mediums, materials, and digital art.

I cherish those classroom moments when students feel excited, invigorated, and successful, just as much as I value the moments of frustration, challenge, feedback, and growth.

Developing creative and innovative practices that empower my students to cultivate their own autonomy and love of learning is my happy place, and I hope to continue to develop and grow as an educator as well as a professional artist and designer for a long time.

Teaching Timeline

Working within the Independent teaching sector has been a truly enriching experience, offering me countless opportunities to grow and blossom as a teacher. I've had the joy of facilitating learning across various subjects and embracing additional responsibilities with open arms. The collaboration and challenges I've encountered have been a profound gift, shaping me into the teacher I am today.

    Above and beyond

"You have gone above and beyond in helping us in the lead up to the exam, I would have struggled so much without your guidance in the class. I am very grateful for your teaching and close 'tenor' you have with us."

Engaging, hardworking and exceptional team player

"Lori's outstanding qualities as an engaging, hardworking, and exceptional team player have been a tremendous asset to her students and colleagues at Christian College Geelong. She has a unique ability to captivate students with innovative and interactive teaching methods, fostering a love of learning and encouraging academic excellence. Her dedication to her craft is evident in the meticulous preparation and enthusiasm she brings to each class. Her individualised lessons are inspiring. Beyond the classroom, Lori is an invaluable team member, consistently offering support to and collaboration with colleagues. I have enjoyed working closely with Lori this year as part of the English Language team and am sad to be losing her as a colleague but know that she will be an amazing asset to her next school."
